We have some exciting news to share! FortGuard is officially joining the HYVOR product family. As part of this transition, FortGuard is migrating from fortguard.io to its new home at fortguard.hyvor.com.
What started as a side project to test how Large Language Models (LLMs) could combat spam in Hyvor Talk has grown into something much bigger. FortGuard has proven to be incredibly effective, and bringing it fully under the HYVOR umbrella allows us to provide better support, deeper product integration, and faster development.
Here is everything you need to know about the migration, what it means for your account, and a sneak peek at what’s coming next.
What the Migration Means for You
Account & Data Migration
Active Accounts - If you have an active subscription or a trial, your account, projects, and API keys have already been securely migrated to HYVOR using your registered email address. You can log in with your existing password (or reset it at hyvor.com/reset). Your projects can now be found under a new default organization in your dashboard.
Expired Accounts - If your trial or subscription expired before the migration, your data was not moved. However, you can easily start fresh by signing up for a new account at fortguard.hyvor.com.
API Continuity
No Immediate Breaking Changes - Your existing API keys will work seamlessly on the new domain.
Deprecation Timeline - The legacy
fortguard.ioAPI endpoints will continue to function until the end of 2027. While you have plenty of time, we highly recommend updating your applications to use the new domain as soon as possible.
Billing Updates & Grandfathered Pricing
With this move, billing will now be handled directly through HYVOR's central billing system.
Action Required - If you have an active subscription, please add your card details to HYVOR at hyvor.com/account/org/billing before your current billing cycle ends.
Subscription Transition - Your previous Paddle subscription will automatically cancel at the end of its current cycle, and your next cycle will be billed through HYVOR.
Currency & Pricing - HYVOR processes payments exclusively in EUR (€).
Existing Customers - To thank you for your early support, we have grandfathered your account at a favorable exchange rate of €25/month (from the previous $30/month).
New Customers - New subscriptions moving forward will be priced at €30/month.
Upcoming FortGuard V2
One of the reasons for this migration is to prepare for the upcoming V2 of FortGuard. We are planning to improve FortGuard into a LLM-based full-fledged content moderation API. This will include features like:
Customizable, workflow-based moderation rule pipelines
Improved dashboard and analytics
More LLM providers and models
