Editorial Workflow Tool
Drafts, Review and Scheduled Publishing

Write drafts, review them with your team, and schedule posts to publish automatically, all in one editor.

  1. 1. Write Draft

Writers work on drafts that are visible only to your team.

  2. 2. Review Draft

Editors propose changes in suggestion mode, in the same post.

  3. 3. Schedule Scheduled

Pick a date and time. The post stays private until then.

  4. 4. Publish Published

The post goes live automatically, or with one click.

An editorial workflow tool built into your blog

Many teams plan content in one tool, write it in another, and paste it into a CMS to publish. In Hyvor Blogs, each of these steps happens in the post itself.

Drafts with auto-saving

Drafts are saved automatically every 15 seconds and are visible only to the users of your blog.

Real-time collaboration

Writers and editors can work in the same post at the same time, with live cursors showing where each person is editing.

Suggestion mode

Reviewers propose edits as suggestions instead of overwriting the original text, so the writer can see what changed.

Scheduled publishing

Schedule a post for a specific date and time. Hyvor Blogs publishes it automatically.

Multi-language posts

Each language variant of a post has its own draft and is published separately, so translations can go live when they are ready.

Roles and permissions

Admin, Editor, Writer, and Contributor roles control who can edit, publish, and manage the blog.

Drafts your team can work on

Every post starts as a draft. It is not visible to the public, and only the users of your blog can open it in the Console.

  • Auto-saved every 15 seconds
  • Up to 25 versions in post history
  • Multiple authors per post

Review with suggestion mode

Reviewers do not need to leave feedback in a separate document. They edit the draft in suggestion mode, and their changes are added as suggestions that do not overwrite the original.

  • Edits that keep the original text
  • Co-editing with live cursors
  • Included in every plan
Suggesting

A content calendar helps your team to be able to plan posts ahead of time, and it shows what is due this week.

Scheduled publishing

When a post is ready, publish it immediately or schedule it for a specific date and time. A scheduled post stays private, and Hyvor Blogs publishes it automatically.

Frequently asked questions

An editorial workflow tool manages the steps a piece of content goes through before it is published: drafting, review, scheduling, and publishing. It also controls who can do each step, so content does not go live before it is ready.

Hyvor Blogs is a publishing CMS with the editorial workflow built in. Your team drafts, reviews, schedules, and publishes posts in one editor, so you do not need a separate tool to track content and then copy it into a CMS.

Reviewers open the draft and turn on suggestion mode. Their edits are added as suggestions instead of changing the original text. Because the editor supports real-time collaboration, the writer and the reviewer can also work in the post at the same time.

No. A post is either Draft, Scheduled, or Published. Review happens while the post is a draft. Roles control who can edit and publish: Contributors can only work on their own posts, while Writers, Editors, and Admins can edit and publish posts written by others.

In the post editor, click Publish, choose Publish Later, and set the date and time. The post status changes to Scheduled, and Hyvor Blogs publishes it automatically at that time. See the scheduling guide.

Yes. Changes to the content of a published post are saved separately and are not visible to readers until you click Update. You can also discard the changes to return to the published version. Note that metadata changes, such as the description or tags, are applied immediately.

It depends on your plan: 1 user on Personal, 5 on Starter, 15 on Growth, and 50 on Premium. Real-time collaboration and suggestion mode are included in every plan. See pricing for details.
